SUV or minivan?

I guess I should explain the latest poll...Doug drives a Jeep and I drive a convertible. We're doing some preliminary research into a more suitable vehicle to purchase prior to Baby Allen's arrival. We're looking mainly at SUVs but it has been suggested that perhaps a minivan would be more practical to ferry around this baby and future Baby Allens (as well as visiting grandparents!). I'm just not sure I am ready for a minivan...hence the poll to test the waters. So go on, vote!
